Subscription terms

In short: a monthly subscription with no trial. Cancel in one click in your account and every check keeps running until the end of the month you’ve paid for. UK consumers can also cancel within 14 days and get the unused days back. The price is the full amount; we don’t charge VAT.

Effective: 23 October 2026

Who provides the service

The howhackable subscription is provided by Weblock Media Ltd (company no. 12103785; 9a Wick Road Business Park, Wick Road, Burnham-On-Crouch, Essex, CM0 8FA, United Kingdom), trading as Weblock Group. Contact: [email protected].

Who can subscribe

In the United Kingdom, and in countries outside the European Union, anyone can subscribe, as a business or as a private person.

From EU countries we only accept subscriptions from businesses, with the company name and VAT number. By ordering, you confirm that you are acting for your business.

What you get

Basic, £9 a month: one domain, re-checked every week, with an alert email if a new serious issue appears, the score drops, or the certificate or domain is about to expire. A summary every Monday, the score history in your account and a downloadable PDF report.

Pro, £29 a month: up to five domains, re-checked every day, plus the in-depth check for domains whose ownership you have verified in your account.

The checks are passive: we look at the site like a visitor would and only read public data. We never attack, attempt to break in or load-test. The result is an automated measurement for your information: it doesn’t replace a full security audit and can’t guarantee that the site won’t be hacked.

Payment and invoices

You pay monthly in advance by card. Payments are handled by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd); we never see or store your card details. The subscription renews every month until you cancel.

Weblock Media Ltd is not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged and the price shown is the full amount you pay. We email an invoice after every payment to the billing address you gave, and you can download it in your account.

Before a renewal we remind you of the date and the amount by email, at least every six months.

Changing plan

You can change plan at any time in your account. Moving up, we charge the pro-rata difference straight away and the extra domains are ready immediately. Moving down, the unused part is credited on your next invoice. If the smaller plan holds fewer domains, remove the extra ones first.

Cancelling

Cancel in one click in your account, no reason needed. Your subscription runs until the end of the period you’ve paid for, with every check and alert, and then there are no further charges. Until then you can undo it with “Keep my subscription”.

Apart from the 14-day right below, we don’t refund a month that has started.

14-day right to cancel for UK consumers

If you subscribe as a private person in the UK, you can cancel within 14 days of your first payment without giving a reason. Because you ask us to start the service straight away, we refund what you paid minus the share for the days already used.

To cancel, press “Cancel and get a refund” in your account, or email [email protected] with your name, account email address and a clear statement that you are cancelling the contract. Checks stop at once, and we refund to the card you paid with within 14 days.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your right to a service provided with reasonable care and skill under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If a payment fails

If the charge to your card fails, we email you and Stripe retries within a few days. Everything keeps working for seven days after the renewal date; if payment still hasn’t gone through, the subscription ends. We keep your domains and history in your account, so a new subscription picks up where you left off.

Your side

Only add domains that your own business runs, or that the owner has asked you to check. The in-depth check only runs on domains with verified ownership.

You control the email address you sign in with: anyone with access to it can sign in to your account.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but we can’t guarantee it will always be available: maintenance or an outside fault may delay a check. If that happens, we run the check later.

For business customers, apart from wilful misconduct, gross negligence and anything the law doesn’t allow us to limit, our liability for the results or a missed alert is capped at the fees you paid us in the previous twelve months, and we aren’t liable for lost profits or indirect loss. For consumers, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

Price changes and changes to these terms

We can change the price or these terms by giving you at least 30 days’ notice by email; a new price applies from the next billing period. If you don’t accept it, you can cancel before it takes effect.

If we end the contract

If the service is misused (for example, to monitor other people’s sites in bulk without permission), we can end the subscription immediately. Otherwise we can end it with 30 days’ notice by email, and we refund any paid period you haven’t used.

Deleting your account and your data

Without a live subscription you can delete your account at any time on the Account tab: we then delete your domains, history and alerts. Stripe keeps invoices for eight years to meet accounting rules. Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal data.

Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. For complaints, email [email protected] and we’ll give you a full answer within 14 days.
