Who is using your company name?
Scammers write to your customers from a domain one letter off: barclasy.co.uk, yourcompany-login.com. Enter your domain and we’ll check its lookalikes: which are registered, which can send email, and which are already blocklisted.
Which variants we check
- Different endingThe same name with .com, .co.uk, .uk, .eu, .shop, .online and other endings. The classic: the company owns .co.uk, the scammer buys .com.
- TypoA missing, doubled or swapped letter, or an extra hyphen. Nobody notices these when reading quickly.
- Lookalike characterA zero for an o, a one for an l, rn for an m. In a small font on a phone they’re almost impossible to tell apart.
- Added wordYour name plus login, secure, support or help. Scammers love these because they sound official.
What the results mean
- A lookalike that can handle email is the most dangerous: someone can write in your name from it, and it receives mail sent to the mistyped address.
- A new registration is suspicious: scammers work with domains a few days or weeks old.
- A parked domain is usually for sale. If it matters to you, buy it before someone else does.
- If a variant looks like yours we say so, but it’s worth checking: it may simply be with the same provider.
